Each performance features a variety of musical artists, spoken word poets, and talented people from the audience.

Answer: The Soul Den involves artists from various disciplines including: music, fine art, graphic art, spoken word poetry, and acting.

Question: What type of music is featured at The Soul Den?

Answer: The Soul Den features Soul Music i.e., music across a variety of genres whose intent is to touch the heart and soul of the listener. The Soul Den features great artists performing their original music or original arrangements of other artists music. The most notable genre influences include classic and neo soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz & Gospel.

Question: What makes The Soul Den different from a concert?

Answer: The Soul Den is different from a concert in that every performance is as much about serving the audience as it is about seeing great artist perform. Our audiences are encouraged to become an active participant in the creative process and to express themselves during the event.

Question: What do you want the audience to get out of attending the Soul Den

Answer: The Soul Den mission is "To Awaken the Artist in every Soul." As such, our goal is to leave every audience feeling inspired and enthusiastic about life and their potential for creating success for themselves and others.

Question: What do you see in the future for the Soul Den?

Answer: The 2009 Soul Den season is being spent perfecting our business and music performance model. In 2010 and beyond we plan to replicate the Soul Den in other markets in 2010.

Answer: Although The Soul Den is a family friendly event, the target audience age ranges from 20 - 60. Anyone who enjoys soul music, performed by great artists, will enjoy The Soul Den.

Answer: in 2009 The Soul Den is currently scheduled to be performing in April, July, and October at the Shadow Theatre Company (1468 Dayton Street in Aurora, Co.).
