The Soul Den is a live music venture centering around the idea that music is first and foremost for the purpose of uplifting mankind.

It's a place where artists (musicians, spokenword poets, graphic design, film, etc..) unite to create a music experience that seeks to not only entertain, but encourage those in the audience to participate and create with them. Set in the intimate Shadow Theatre Company, patrons are treated not only to music, but to an art exhibition by world renoun sculptor and pioneer, Ed Dwight as well as other local artists.

The Soul Den invites the audience to temporarily leave their cares at the door, as they are greeted and settle into a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

The Soul Den crosses genres taking influences from, Theatre, Spoken Word, Soul, Jazz, Gospel  and Blues music to create a unique expression of original material, some before your very eyes.We see patrons as not just spectators, but active participants in the evening.  You are invited to “enter in” and release the art inside of you by creating along with others on the stage.

By the end of the evening, the goal is that all feel  ignited, inspired, motivated, uplifted and challenged to uncover the “artist” that lives within.  Hopefully what occurs is more than just a feeling, but potentially a life changing experience.
